Media Creation Guide

Edited

The media you use will have a big impact on the performance of your ad, so we always recommend you start by modeling what is already working.

  • Review all media through our Media Database. Here you will also see past performance data.

  • Or find your campaign in the Campaign Catalogue and open the media link to review the media.

Each link contains a Canva file where you can preview the media. To make edits, follow our how to use Canva guide.

Media Sizing

When you post an ad on Meta, you get access to several different ad placements across Facebook and Instagram, and content is sized slightly differently on each placement. We recommend using a single file that fits all placements.

To do this, use a single file that is 1w x 1.8 h (in pixels 1080w x 1920h), and place all important text and images in the middle third of the image. If you follow this approach, the image will appear correctly on all placements.

If you place important text or content outside of the middle third, it will be cut off on shorter placements.

Content Guide (Images)

If you don't have any pictures, snap some! Fancy is NOT necessary - candid smartphone shots perform the best. If it takes longer than a coffee break, you are doing it wrong.

Look For: People, Eye Contact, Smiles, Group Staff Photos, and Treatment Demonstrations.

Performs Poorly: Photos without people, stock images from the equipment manufacturer.
Against Meta Rules (will get restricted): Before & After photos, needles, blood, accentuating a particular body part (like squeezing jowls or love handles).
