Transfer an Existing Phone Number To Your Account

The majority of software with SMS capabilities integrates with Twilio. If you will transfer a Twilio number to an LC Phone or to another Twilio sub-account, please use the instructions below to complete the number transfer.

If you do not use Twilio, please let us know so we can guide you with how to proceed.

Step 1: Gather the following information:

  1. Phone Number(s): The full phone number(s) you wish to move.

  2. Losing Account SID: The AC SID for the project or GHL subaccount that is giving up the phone number.

    To get this, log in to your GHL account then contact support to get the ISV location's sub-account SID

  3. Gaining Account SID: The AC SID for the project or GHL subaccount that will be receiving the phone number.

    To get this, contact us at support@foreverbooked.com.

Step 2: Submit a support ticket with Twilio support

  1. In your Twilio account, go to support and submit a ticket.

  2. Fill out the fields by following or by copying and pasting the guide below:

    • Subject: Moving Numbers Request

    • CC Emails: migration@leadconnectorhq.com

    • Comment:

      Hi Twilio Support,
      I would like to move the following phone numbers to a new sub-account -
      [+1 Paste Number You Would Like To Transfer]

      Losing sub-account SID - [Paste Losing Account SID from GHL Support]
      Gaining sub-account SID - [Paste Gaining Account SID we provided]
      Time-frame: ASAP

      Please process this request as soon as possible because it is business-critical for me.

    • Product: Phone Numbers

    • Business Impact: P2 Degraded - Twilio or your configuration is not functioning properly or intermittently

  3. Click Submit.

  4. You will then see a pop up. Click “No” and then SUBMIT HELP REQUEST to ensure the ticket is submitted.
